Borys Buryak in the city of Lviv! Unique exhibition of works of the famous artist!

On May 10, 2008 a grand opening of an exhibition of the famous Ukrainian artist, native of the city of Lviv, Borys Buryak took place in the premises of the "Grand Hotel". Exposition numbers 32 works painted by the artist in the period of 1993-2008.

Borys Buryak defines his creative style as post-traditionalism. Language school and original view of things stand behind this definition. Therefore many graduates of the Lviv National Academy of Arts recall him as their most outstanding teacher. Buryak has already brought up several generations of Ukrainian artists, among them Serhiy Savchenko, Ihor Romanko, Olena Turyanska, Nazar Rad and others. He himself is an outstanding artist whose creative work and activity are significant and original.

The exposition will last through May 10 – 31, 2008 in the premises of the "Grand Hotel". The Artist's unique works are placed in the halls and restaurant of the "Grand Hotel" that makes them accessible for viewing day and night.

It is worthwhile to say that for a long period of time this has been the first exhibition of Borys Buryak which numbers artist's works in such a large volume.

The present event is one of the projects of the "House of Grands" Corporation course aimed at popularization of modern trends in art, music, literature and other components of spiritual life of the European city of Lviv.

Borys Buryak's favourite work "Look" painted in 2007 has also been available at the exhibition.
